How do I sign up for MitRun?

You can register directly on our website. Simply create an account, choose your city or run, and decide whether to join a team, start your own, or run solo.

Do I have to be a runner to participate?

Not at all! MitRun is for everyone—whether you run, jog, or walk. The goal is to have fun, build community, and support the cause together.

Can I participate with a wheelchair, stroller, or other mobility device?

Yes! MitRun is designed to be inclusive. Participants using wheelchairs, strollers, or other mobility devices are welcome on the course. We do our best to ensure routes are accessible, and volunteers will be available to assist if needed.

Can I join a team after I’ve already signed up?

Yes! If you’ve registered as an individual but later decide you’d like to join a team, you can easily update your registration in your account.

Is there a fundraising minimum?

There’s no required minimum, but we encourage all participants to set a fundraising goal. Every dollar raised helps make a bigger impact, and we provide tools to make it easy to share your page.

How do I start fundraising?

Once you register, you’ll get a personal fundraising page that you can customize with your story, photos, and goal. From there, share your page with friends, family, and coworkers to start collecting donations.

Can I combine offline donations with my online fundraising page?

Yes! You can log cash or check donations through your account so your total reflects all contributions.

Where does the money raised go?

Funds raised through MitRun support programs and initiatives that create lasting impact in the community. Each dollar helps move the mission forward.

Can I give by phone or mail?

If you prefer to mail your donation, please make checks payable to MitRun and send to PO Box 1234 City, ST 12345-6789. To donate by phone, please call our Donor Relations team at 123.456.6789. We look forward to talking with you.

How can I stay involved with MitRun after the event?

You can join future runs, volunteer, or continue fundraising throughout the year. Many participants make MitRun part of their annual tradition.

Can I volunteer instead of running?

Yes! Volunteers are a huge part of what makes MitRun successful. Opportunities include check-in, water stations, cheering squads, and more.
